Terms of Use
Last Updated: January 8, 2025
Welcome to trilovira. These terms govern your access to and use of our financial research education platform. By accessing trilovira.world or participating in our programs, you're agreeing to follow these guidelines.
We've written this in plain language because legal documents shouldn't require a law degree to understand. If something's unclear, reach out—we're here to help.
Questions? Contact us at support@trilovira.world or call +17052216526. Our office is located at 4238 91a St NW, Edmonton, AB T6E 5V2, Canada.
1. Acceptance and Modifications
Using our website or services means you accept these terms. Simple as that. If you don't agree with what's written here, you shouldn't use our platform or enroll in our programs.
We update these terms occasionally—usually when we add new features or need to clarify something based on user feedback. When we make significant changes, we'll post a notice on our homepage and send an email to enrolled students. Changes take effect seven days after posting unless they're required by law (in which case they're immediate).
Your continued use after changes go live means you accept the updated terms. If you disagree with modifications, you'll need to stop using our services before the effective date.
2. Educational Services and Program Access
Nature of Our Programs
trilovira provides educational content focused on financial research methodologies. Our programs teach analytical frameworks, research techniques, and critical thinking skills. We don't provide investment advice, guaranteed outcomes, or promises about employment or income.
Results vary widely based on individual effort, background knowledge, market conditions, and how you apply what you learn. Some students find immediate practical applications; others need months to develop competency. That's normal for complex subjects.
Enrollment and Access
When you enroll, you get access to course materials for the duration specified in your program details. Most programs run six to twelve months. Access periods start from your enrollment date, not from when you first log in—so jumping in early makes sense.
Access Limitations: Your account is for your personal use only. Sharing login credentials, distributing course materials, or allowing others to access your account violates these terms and may result in immediate termination without refund.
Technical Requirements
You'll need a stable internet connection and a modern web browser. Some research tools we teach require specific software—we provide lists before enrollment so there are no surprises. Most students get by with standard equipment, but certain advanced modules might need additional resources.
3. User Responsibilities and Conduct
Using our platform comes with some basic expectations. Most of this is common sense, but we need to spell it out clearly:
- Provide accurate information during registration. We use your details for course delivery and communication.
- Keep your account credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity under your account.
- Respect intellectual property rights. Our course materials are protected by copyright.
- Participate respectfully in community forums and group sessions. Harassment or abusive behavior isn't tolerated.
- Don't attempt to access restricted areas of our platform or interfere with its operation.
- Use the platform for educational purposes only, not for unauthorized commercial activities.
Prohibited Activities
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our course content without written permission. This includes recording live sessions, sharing PDFs of course materials, or uploading content to file-sharing sites.
Violations may result in account suspension, legal action, and liability for damages. We monitor for unauthorized distribution and take copyright infringement seriously.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
Our Content
Everything on trilovira.world—course materials, videos, articles, research frameworks, graphics, software tools—is owned by trilovira or our licensors. This content is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws.
Your enrollment gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use materials solely for personal educational purposes. This license doesn't include rights to modify, distribute, publicly display, or commercially exploit our content.
Your Content
When you post in forums, submit assignments, or share work in our community, you retain ownership of your content. However, you grant us a license to use, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate our platform and provide services.
We might showcase student work in marketing materials or as examples for future cohorts. We'll ask permission first for identifiable work, but forum posts and public comments may be used without additional notice.
5. Payment Terms and Refund Policy
Pricing and Payment
Program fees are listed on our website in Canadian dollars. Prices may change for future cohorts, but your rate is locked when you enroll. We accept major credit cards and electronic bank transfers. Payment plans are available for programs over certain thresholds—contact us for details.
All fees are due according to the payment schedule agreed upon at enrollment. Late payments may result in access suspension until accounts are current. We'll send reminders before taking any action.
Refund Policy
We offer a 14-day trial period from enrollment. If the program isn't what you expected, request a full refund within those first two weeks. After that, refunds are prorated based on remaining access time, minus a 20% administrative fee.
Refunds aren't available if your account was terminated for violating these terms. Processing takes 10-15 business days, and funds return via your original payment method.
No Refunds After Completion: Once you complete a program or your access period expires, refunds are no longer available—even if you didn't use all the materials.
6. Disclaimers and Limitations
Educational Purpose Only
Our programs teach research methodologies and analytical frameworks. They don't constitute financial advice, investment recommendations, or professional consultation. We're educators, not financial advisors.
Any examples, case studies, or scenarios used in courses are for educational illustration only. They don't represent predictions, guarantees, or endorsements of specific investments or strategies.
No Guarantees
We can't guarantee specific outcomes, employment opportunities, income levels, or career advancement from completing our programs. Success depends on many factors outside our control—your effort, prior knowledge, market conditions, and how you apply what you learn.
While we provide high-quality education based on current industry practices, financial markets and research methodologies evolve. Information that's accurate today might become outdated.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, trilovira and its instructors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services.
Our total liability for any claims related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific program giving rise to the claim.
Service Availability
We aim for 99.5% uptime, but technology isn't perfect. Maintenance, updates, or unexpected technical issues might temporarily interrupt access. We'll communicate about planned downtime in advance when possible.
We're not liable for losses or damages resulting from service interruptions, though we'll work quickly to restore access and may extend access periods to compensate for extended outages.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
We collect and process personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to this data handling in accordance with Canadian privacy laws including PIPEDA.
We take data security seriously and use industry-standard protections. However, no internet transmission is completely secure. You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
8. Termination and Suspension
Your Right to Cancel
You can cancel your enrollment anytime by contacting support@trilovira.world. Refunds follow the policy outlined in Section 5. After cancellation, you'll lose access to course materials immediately or at the end of your current billing period, depending on your payment structure.
Our Right to Terminate
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, engage in prohibited activities, or use our platform in ways that harm other users or our business. We'll typically provide warning first unless the violation is severe (like distributing course materials illegally).
Termination for cause means no refund. You're still responsible for any outstanding payments owed.
Effect of Termination
When access ends for any reason, you must stop using course materials. Sections of these terms that should reasonably survive termination (like intellectual property provisions, disclaimers, and dispute resolution procedures) continue to apply.
9. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
Informal Resolution
If you have a problem, talk to us first. Most issues get resolved through direct communication. Send details to support@trilovira.world, and we'll work with you to find a solution. Give us at least 30 days to address concerns before pursuing formal action.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action must be brought in the courts located in Edmonton, Alberta, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Arbitration Agreement
If we can't resolve disputes informally, either party may initiate binding arbitration under the Arbitration Act (Alberta). The arbitration will be conducted in English in Edmonton, Alberta. Each party bears their own costs unless the arbitrator rules otherwise.
You agree to arbitrate disputes individually, not as part of any class or representative proceeding. This arbitration agreement doesn't prevent either party from seeking injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations.
10. General Provisions
Entire Agreement
These terms, along with our Privacy Policy and any program-specific agreements, constitute the complete agreement between you and trilovira regarding our services. They replace any prior discussions or agreements.
Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or removed if modification isn't possible. The rest of these terms remain in full effect.
Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision doesn't constitute a waiver of that right or provision. Waivers must be in writing to be effective.
Assignment
You can't transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations to any successor or affiliate without restriction.
Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from circumstances beyond reasonable control—natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, telecommunications failures, or other events that couldn't reasonably be anticipated or prevented.
Notices
We'll send notices to the email address you provided during registration. You're responsible for keeping that information current. Notices to us should be sent to support@trilovira.world or mailed to our physical address.
